Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman met with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti, where the parties discussed and agreed on further cooperation. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian government.
In particular, Groysman thanked EBRD for assistance in the construction of the "Shelter" at Chernobyl nuclear power plant. In addition, the parties discussed the privatization process in Ukraine, including Odessa Portside Plant, as well as the reform of state-owned enterprises.
"EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti noted the efforts of the government in carrying out the important and significant reforms that are taking place in Ukraine, particularly in the macroeconomic sphere, in the reform of the banking system, the introduction of the electronic system of public procurement ProZorro and e-declaration, the extension of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, the introduction of market prices for gas, "Naftogaz" corporate governance reform, continuation of privatization,” it was said in a statement.
