The Greek government has decided to provide Ukraine with 100,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine from AstraZeneca. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Minister.

It is noted that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

"Denys Shmygal, for his part, wished Greece to cope with the disaster as soon as possible, and also thanked the Greek government for the decision to provide Ukraine with 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines," the statement said.

It is noted that the parties also discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres.

At the end of July, it was reported that Lithuania would hand over 131,000 doses of AstraZeneca to Ukraine. And in early August, half a million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine provided by Denmark arrived in Ukraine.
