Newly-appointed Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal and members of his government have taken the oath. The PM read out the text of the oath at the Verkhovna Rada after the support of the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers by the majority of votes as 112 Ukraine reported.

Thus, from today, the new Cabinet of Ministers has the right to fulfill its authorities.

Before that, the parliament dismissed the government of Oleksiy Honcharuk.

As we reported, the Verkhovna Rada appointed the new composition of the new Cabinet of Ministers. Andriy Taran was appointed as the Defense Minister of Ukraine; Dmytro Kuleba was appointed as the Foreign Minister of Ukraine.

An extraordinary parliamentary meeting is underway.

According to Oleksandr Kachura, MP from the ruling "Servant of the People" faction, in addition to the resignation of Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk, Verkhovna Rada shall decide on the resignation of Prosecutor-General Ruslan Ryaboshapka. The draft resolution on the dismissal of Ryaboshapka from the position of Prosecutor General was registered yesterday by the MPs of the "Servants of the people."
