Prime Minister Denys Shmygal stated that government does not consider the introduction of strict quarantine all over Ukraine, despite the difficult situation with the spread of coronavirus. He reported that during the governmental meeting.
“The situation with coronavirus in particular regions remains to be tense. At the same time, we observe a decrease of the number of new cases and hospitalizations in some regions. It is another evidence that the adaptive quarantine introduced by the government is an effective tool. As we have said, there is no sense to close the whole country for quarantine,” Shmygal said.
He noted that observation of anti-epidemic rules is the only necessity now.
As we reported, the lockdown was extended in Kyiv until April 30.
Besides, 14,553 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ukraine in 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic: 1,887,338 people got infected; 1,442,618 patients recovered (+12,384 in 24 hours); 38,225 (+467 in 24 hours) lethal cases reported.
