The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved an agreement with Romania on military-technical cooperation. The relevant decision was made at a government meeting. This was announced by the MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
The agreement provides for the possibility of creating a joint Ukrainian-Romanian commission on military-technical cooperation.
According to the explanatory note to the document, the entry into force of the agreement will ensure the creation of the necessary legal framework in the military-technical sphere between the two countries and will provide military-technical cooperation in the following areas: procurement of weapons, ammunition and military equipment. armaments and military equipment at the request of one of the parties; supply of armaments, ammunition and military equipment and provision of other services in the military-technical sphere; sale of licenses for the production of weapons, ammunition and military equipment; joint research and development work in the military-technical sphere and mutual exchange of results of such work; exchange of experience and information on standardization, codification, quality control of equipment for use in joint programs of military-technical cooperation.
As we reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has agreed to lift sanctions against two former Crimean MPs. The relevant decision was made at a government meeting.
The explanatory note states that the sanctions are lifted in connection with the decisions of the Sixth Appeal Administrative Court.
According to the documents, Serhiy Verhel and Serhiy Zaits, who were MPs of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of the sixth convocation, will be excluded from the sanctions list. The sanctions included indefinite freezing of assets and other restrictions.
Within a month, this decision will be submitted to the National Security and Defense Council.
