Former First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleh Gladkovsky was detained under suspicion in abuse of official position as the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) reported.
“The NABU confirms the detention of former ex-first deputy of the NSDC secretary under suspicion in abuse of official position. Investigative actions continue. Currently, it is all information we may announce considering the secrecy of the investigation. The details to be revealed later,” the bureau noted.
Earlier we reported that Oleh Hladkovsky tried to leave the country, but he was detained by employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. He was detained on the Boryspil highway.

State defense facilities purchased the smuggled spare parts from private companies linked to Gladkovsky and his friends at highly inflated prices. Ukroboronprom state concern knew the origin of the smuggled parts but agreed to purchase them.
Ihor Gladkovsky, along with Vitaliy Zhukov and Andriy Rogoza were supplying smuggled Russian components and components from the Ukrainian military units through straw companies at prices 2-4 times higher than market ones.
