Germany will not supply Ukraine the military weapon but it is ready to provide political support in the solution of the Donbas Conflict as Deutsche Welle reported citing Speaker of the German government Steffen Seibert.
“We admit restrictive and responsible policy of armament export, including Ukraine, and we do not provide permission for export of a military weapon,” Seibert said.
Meanwhile, he stated that the German government supports Ukraine; the Donbas Conflict should be solved in a political way.
Co-leader of Alliance '90/The Greens Robert Habeck stated during his visit to Kyiv that Ukraine cannot be refused in right to get the defensive arms. Besides, he earlier stated that Ukraine fight not only for itself but Ukraine also protects the security of Europe.
According to NATO, even though Russia has withdrawn some of its troops from Ukraine's borders, tens of thousands of Russian troops continue to remain near Ukraine's borders.
On April 22, it was reported that Russia is withdrawing troops from the borders of Ukraine to places of permanent stationing.
According to Pentagon, Russia has withdrawn part of troops; however, the risk remains.
