Prosecutor General’s Office defines Donbas children selectors for illegal formations

The Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine (GPU) defined the group of people who selected children to the illegal military formation in Donbas, as the press service of the GPU reports.

The leaders of the so-called military-patriotic clubs Spartantsi and Amazonka, as well as the leader of the public military-patriotic movement Moloda Hvardiia, are suspected of organization and abetting of a terrorist organization, creation of the not determined within the Laws of Ukraine paramilitaries and participating in their activities.

“It is found that the persons, who are the activists and supporters of the Donetsk People's Republic terroristic organization, support and promote Russian neo-imperial geopolitical doctrine “Russian Peace” as well as the ideas of separation of Donetsk region from Ukraine and proclamation of the independent state on these territories,” the message reads.

The suspected ordered the implementation of the Donbas children’s indoctrination system. They selected kids and teenagers between 5 and 18 years old for the preparation by teaching the use of weapons, ammunition and explosive substances. The children were obliged to wear military uniform and participate in military action and terrorist activity against Ukraine's forces.

The pre-trial investigation is continuing and the measures of searching and detaining of the suspected are being assumed.
