Volodymyr Yelchenko, the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, stated that the UN General Assembly would consider Ukraine’s draft resolution about the militarization of the Azov Sea on December 17, as Interfax-Ukraine reported.
“We have the amended draft. It is a very important question. As you know, the General Assembly will consider it on December 17. For now, it is scheduled for the morning meeting,” Yelchenko said.
The Ambassador noted that the draft resolution was extended by the information about Russia’s aggression in Kerch Strait.
Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry urged the countries of the Budapest memorandum to start consultations to ensure the compliance with obligations and to cease the Russian aggression.
