G7 states welcome the preliminary results of the OSCE international observers mission concerning the first round of the presidential elections in Ukraine, as the press office of the organization reported on Twitter.

Besides, the Ambassadors have urged the candidates and their teams to act within the law during the second round of the elections.
As it was reported, Volodymyr Zelensky enters the second tour of the elections with 30,22% of votes, while Petro Poroshenko, the current President of Ukraine, occupies the second place with 15,93% as the Central Election Commission reported after the procession of 96,16% of the protocols.

Zelensky is a leader in the majority of the regions of Ukraine, while Poroshenko is supported in western regions - Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil.
