The Ambassadors of G7 have reacted to the dismissal of Naftogaz Head Andriy Kobolev and the supervisory board. They warn against interference in its work as they reported on Twitter.

“G7 Ambassadors note the government’s decision to dismiss CEO & supervisory board of Naftogaz. Effective management and governance of SOEs in Ukraine, free from political interference, is crucial to Ukraine’s competitiveness, prosperity, & Ukraine fulfilling its international commitments,” the message said.

On April 28, the Cabinet of Ministers officially reported the dismissal of Andriy Kobolev from the position of Naftogaz Head. The government held a general meeting of the stockholders of Naftogaz. The report of the company’s work for 2020 was considered.

It is noted that Naftogaz Ukraine will be chaired by Yuriy Vitrenko from April 29.
