G7 ambassadors find Ukraine's experience of "adaptive quarantine" useful for EU

The head of the Ministry of Health Maksym Stepanov held a working meeting with the G7 ambassadors in Ukraine, where they discussed several important issues. This is reported by the head of the Ministry of Health on his Facebook page.

According to Maksym Stepanov, during the meeting, the Health Ministry's strategy to combat Covid-19, the vaccination program in Ukraine, a campaign to popularize vaccination and further plans to reform the medical industry as a whole were discussed.

"The ambassadors acknowledged that our experience of "adaptive quarantine" can be useful for some EU countries," Stepanov  said.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry of Ukraine has renewed the list of ‘red’, ‘orange’ and ‘yellow’ zones of epidemical safety on rates of incidence with coronavirus, level of hospitalization and occupancy of hospitals. Two region regions are in the ‘red’ zone; while Kyiv stays in the ‘yellow’ zone .

Thus, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions stay in the ‘red’ zone. Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Luhansk and Ternopil region.

Other regions, including Kyiv, stay in the ‘yellow’ zone.

The quarantine depending on the level has started to act from February 24.
