Russian FSB detain two Ukrainian at administrative border with Crimea

Russian security service FSB states about the detention of two Ukrainians at the administrative border of Crimea and Kherson region, as Krym.Realii reported citing border guard department of FSB.

It is stated that one of the detainees is the citizen of Khmelnytsk region, aiming to enter the peninsula through the Russian checkpoint Dzhankoi. A 40-year-old Ukrainian was “put on the federal wanted list since April 2019 for fraud in especially big amount, which he committed on the territory of the peninsula”.

Besides, the FSB reported about the detention of a Crimean citizen at the Russian checkpoint Armyansk, when he was trying to leave the peninsula. He has been on the wanted list since 2016 for committing a theft with inflicting significant damage”.

It is reported that the men were passed to the Russian police. Names of the detainees are not published.

Earlier Russian Federal Security Service took in Raim Aivazov, the Crimean Tatar. The man was detained at Kalanchak checkpoint in occupied Crimea.
