Free Wi-Fi to appear in Kyiv over-ground public transport in the beginning of 2018

By the end of January 2018, all over-ground public transport in Kyiv is to be equipped with a free Wi-Fi, according to the press service of the Kyivpastrans

“Installing free Wi-Fi in transport started at the end of September. At the moment the trams of Shevchenko and Podil depots, and buses of the bus park #5 have already been connected to the Internet. By the end of January 2018, we are planning to finish equipping all over-ground public transport with a free Wi-Fi,” the statement says.

Previously it was informed that before April 2018 electronic tickets will be introduced in Kyiv public transport. Then all data about the number of passengers of the over-ground transport and metro will be submitted to the main data-centre.
