It is planned to hold free-of-charge testing for Covid-19 at the checkpoints in the medical facilities of the service centers at the demarcation line with the temporarily occupied territories, as Interfax-Ukraine reported citing Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Inna Holovanchuk.
“Concerning the services that are provided and would be provided in the medical facilities of the service center, it is planned to hold free-of-charge testing for Covid-19. Besides, one service center is already working in Shchastya (Luhansk region). In December, a similar center will be opened at the checkpoint in Novotroitske (Volnovakha area, Donetsk region) and a modernized center at Chonhar (Henichesky area, Kherson region). The next year, the multifunctional service centers will appear at all checkpoints,” Holovanchuk said.
It is unknown yet whether or not all people who enter the controlled territory of Ukraine will be tested or only those people with symptoms. The ministry expects that this service will start to work by the end of this year.
