Four people injured due to gas explosion in Odesa residential building

An explosion of a gas-air mixture occurred in a residential building located in Odesa city. Fire, caused by the explosion injured four people. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa region. 

"On April 2, at 14:39, the rescue service received a report that a fire broke out in the apartment of a three-story residential building on Khutirska Street. It was established that in an apartment on the second floor there was an outbreak of a gas-air mixture followed by combustion," the message says.

As a result, 4 people were injured. A total of 15 people were evacuated.

It is also reported that the explosion damaged the load-bearing wall and staircase.

As we reported earlier, an explosion occurred on a playground, located in Solomiansky district of Kyiv city, as a result of which one man died. It was reported by the press service of Ukraine's National Police .

"Today, at about 15:00, the police received a message that an explosion occurred on the playground on Chokolivsky Boulevard," the message says. 

At the scene of the explosion, the body of a local resident, born in 1971, was found.
