“Five regions have already entered the “red” level of the epidemic danger; there are four more regions that show quite critical dynamics,” Hanichenko stated.
Thus, Zhytomyr, Luhansk, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions are under the threat of entering the “red” zone.
Hanichenko added that the Kharkiv region shows the extra load on the health system from time to time but it is possible to reduce it.
As of October 18, there are five regions in the red quarantine zone in Ukraine. The “red” level of the epidemic danger acts in Zaporizhia, Odesa, Donetsk, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
As we reported, 15,579 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine during the past 24 hours. Particularly, 538 people died.
