Four law enforcers suffer in clash in Kyiv downtown

Four law enforcers were hurt in a clash on Khreschatyk Street in Kyiv downtown. The press service of National Police of Kyiv reports this.

As it is reported a group of aggressive people came up to law enforcers on Khreschatyk Street. A group of people started swearing and a conflict broke out. In response to demand of policemen to stop swearing, they used tear-gas and started a scuffle.

“To stop the unlawful actions of young people, police used tear-gas and one policeman fired in the air,” the police said.

It is noted that 8 people were taken to the police department to testify in order to establish all circumstances of the incident.

Four law enforcers turned for medical assistance.

Earlier, it was reported that activists blocked highways and Kyiv’s main street protesting against land sale.
