Foreign Ministry of Ukraine intends to inform the international community about the threat of Russian missile strike. This was reported on "112 Ukraine" TV channel by the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mariana Betsa.
"The Russian side claimed in its notes that Ukraine allegedly violates the sovereignty of the Russian Federation, international law, poses a threat to international aviation security, threats against Ukraine also sounded. In fact, Russia is manipulating the information. All of missile tests, exercises are carried out in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and international law on the territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders. All of these control flight tests are conducted in accordance with the articles of the Chicago Convention on international civil aviation of 1944 in the framework of a land, sea and air space of Ukraine, which are under the sovereignty of Ukraine. We will inform the international community of Russia's actions, which are blatant threat to use military force against units of Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Betsa said.
According to the spokeswoman, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has prepared a note of protest, and it will be sent to the Russian side in the coming hours.
Earlier, Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Dublian admitted that Russia can implement its threat to launch a missile and hit in the case if Ukraine conducts the planned missile firing exercises over the Black Sea on December 1-2.
