Over the period from January to July 2019, the citizens of China, Australia and Saudi Arabia received the Ukrainian electronic visa most frequently, as Secretary of Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Andry Zayats reported on Twitter.
“We at the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine are proud of the results of the issuance of the electronic visas to Ukraine used by the foreigners of 52 countries during January-July 2019. This convenient latest mechanism exists just over a year but the numbers eloquently show its efficiency,” Zayats wrote.
According to him, the most active users of e-visa are the citizens of China (12,125), Australia (2,368) and Saudi Arabia (1,787). Totally, the Foreign Ministry issued over 20,000 e-visas to the foreigners in 2019.
The Ministry noted that the Ukrainian e-visas are mostly issued for tourism (16,830), business trips (2,355) and private travels (618).
The youngest applicant for e-visa was 2-months-old, and the oldest one was 96-years-old.
As we reported, Ukraine would open 18 visa centers in 16 countries all over the globe for those foreigners willing to come to this country.
