A flashmob in support of the Ukrainian political prisoners held in Russia took place at Bandershtat Festival in Lutsk on August 3-5.
As it was reported on the page of the festival on Facebook, after the Tartak performance, participants of the music festival made word ‘FREE’ with torches.
“‘FREE’ is our support for the Ukrainians illegally imprisoned by the aggressor-country. Thank you, Bandershtat for joining our patriotic flashmob, it is amazing,” the message says.
As it was reported earlier, Ukrainian movie director Oleg Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment. He announced a hunger strike on May 14 to demand to release all the Ukrainian political prisoners.
On July 19, BoomBox, a Ukrainian band, had a free concert on the administrative board with the occupied Crimea. The stage was set for the performance at Kalanchak checkpoint. The members of the band unfolded a poster with a sign Free Sentsov, Free Crimea and sang Naodyntsi (“alone” in English, - ed).
