Five-year-old Kyrylo, who was allegedly shot by the drunk police officers in Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky, died in Kyiv as 24 channel reported referring to the doctors.

After he was injured, Kyrylo was taken to Kyiv for further treatment in a neurosurgical centre. He was in a critical condition. He was on artificial lungs ventilation machines.  

As it was reported, the police detained two suspects in the deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm to a 5-year-old boy in Pereyaslav-Khemlnytskiy under article 208 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine.

Reportedly, according to the ministry, on May 31, a boy with physical injuries in the form of a severe closed-head injury, brain contusion, internal brain hematoma and a fracture of the temporal bone was delivered to the intensive care unit of the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky hospital.

According to police officers, around 4:00 pm on May 31, four children were walking alongside their place of residence. The 5-year-old boy, due to carelessness, slipped and fell on the asphalt concrete pavement and stone, as a result of which he suffered a head injury.
