As of April 3, almost 14,000 Ukrainian citizens turned to foreign diplomatic institutions for help under the Zakhyst (Protection) system. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry in Telegram channel.

In addition, it is reported that five Ukrainian citizens have already died from coronavirus abroad.

So, as on April 3, 13,817 Ukrainian citizens are under the foreign diplomatic institutions' protection system.

In addition, 166 Ukrainian citizens abroad undergo treatment in Austria (3), Belgium (1), Great Britain and Northern Ireland (1), Greece (16), Dominican Republic (4), Spain (1), Italy (121), Nigeria (1), Netherlands (1), United Arab Emirates (1), Poland (4), Portugal (1), Russian Federation (1), Seychelles (1), Serbia (1), USA (1), Thailand (1), Germany (4), Switzerland (1) and Sweden (1).

It is reported that 11 of our citizens in Italy (2), Nigeria (1), the United Arab Emirates (1), Poland (2), Germany (1) and Japan (4) have recovered.

Five Ukrainian citizens abroad have died. It should be noted that as of April 2, there were four of them. 

As previously reported, Ukraine recorded 130 new cases of infection with coronavirus; the overall number of infected exceeded 1,000.
