List of restrictions

On September 20, the quarantine rules in Ukraine changed, they have been strengthened for unvaccinated citizens and groups (for example, cafes and cinemas with unvaccinated workers).

According to the resolution № 1236, in the red zone, educational institutions will work only if 100% of employees have a green Covid-certificate (except for kindergartens and primary schools).

Prohibited work:

  • cafes and restaurants, except for address delivery and orders;
  • work of shopping malls and other entertainment establishments, cinemas, theaters;
  • non-food markets and shops;
  • gyms, swimming pools, and fitness centers;
  • mass events, except for official sports events and matches of team sports without spectators;
  • cultural institutions, in addition to historical and cultural reserves, filming.

In addition, all restrictions on the yellow and green zones on masks and social distancing apply as well. Thus, in the red zone, only banks, gas stations, veterinary shops, pharmacies, and all grocery stores and supermarkets can work.

But (!) all the above restrictions will not apply provided that all visitors, employees, and organizers have green Сovid-certificates.

In addition, in Zaporizhia citizens will be able to use public transport only in those cases:

  • a Covid-certificate of complete vaccination;
  • the result of a negative test for coronavirus, made no later than 72 hours ago;
  • travel certificates for the period of quarantine issued from the place of work.

Lviv also introduced a number of restrictions. All schoolchildren go on a two-week vacation until November 1. It is forbidden to conduct mass events, except where the organizers and participants will have a vaccination certificate or PCR test.

Theaters, cinemas, museums and galleries, philharmonic, organ halls will work only for visitors who have a vaccination certificate or PCR test. The number of visitors is not more than 50%.

Industrial, food markets and shops, shopping malls, hairdressers, and beauty salons: only vaccinated workers or workers with a negative PCR test can work (with observance of a mask mode and no more than 50% of filling).

Cafes and restaurants can only work under the condition of 100% vaccination or PCR tests for employees with a filling of no more than 50%, up to 4 people at the table. Working hours - until 23:00.

Gyms can be attended only by vaccinated people or people with a negative PCR test. All workers must be vaccinated. Occupancy is not more than 50%.

Hotels and hostels can work only if all employees have a certificate or a negative PCR test.

The difference between certificates

Admittance to shopping malls and gyms is on an internal Covid-certificate with a QR-code in the Diya application. There are two types: yellow and green.

The so-called yellow certificate contains information about the first vaccination and is valid for 120 days, and the green - about the full course of vaccination and is valid for one year. Also, the internal certificate may contain data about recovering from coronavirus (190 days) or a negative PCR test result (72 hours).

In the red zone, you will need green certificates. Visitors will be checked on by the police and other authorized bodies using the software.
