First Ukrainians who suffered in Kabul terrorist attack return

The first part of Ukrainians, who suffered from the terrorist attack in Kabul, arrived in Ukraine today, January 23. This was stated by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Tajikistan and Afghanistan Victor in the commentary for 112 Ukraine.

Answering whether it is true that some Ukrainians have already returned to Ukraine, Nikitiuk confirmed the information.

"It is true, some Ukrainians have already arrived in Ukraine on January 23. The rescued Ukrainians are supposed to return by airliners during yesterday, today, and possibly tomorrow. As for the special flight organized for tomorrow, it's to return about ten of our saved compatriots, but this number can change," Nikityuk said.

As it was reported earlier Ukrainians, who died during the terrorist attack at a hotel in Kabul, will be brought to Ukraine on January 24. Those who survived started returning on Monday, January 22. Someone will return by airliners, others – by special aircraft, which will transport the bodies of the victims.

The Foreign Ministry reported that Ukraine is preparing to send to Kabul a special aircraft, which will take the bodies of the killed and return the wounded citizens home.

As it was reported earlier as a result of the terrorists' attack on the InterContinental hotel in the capital of Afghanistan, 9 Ukrainian citizens were killed.
