The citizen of Chernivtsi recovered from coronavirus in Ukraine. He passed the test, which showed the negative result for Covid-19 as 112 Ukraine reported citing President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“The patient from Chernivtsi had repeated laboratory analysis for coronavirus. It showed a negative result for the second time. It means that we can state officially: there is the first person in Ukraine who recovered from the coronavirus,” Zelensky stated.

According to the president, today, the citizen of Chernivtsi will be discharged from the hospital.

“I congratulate him personally and the whole of our country,” Zelensky added.

 Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky stated that China has provided 10 million laboratory сoronavirus tests and 10 artificial lung ventilators to Ukraine. They will arrive in the next 48 hours.

As of March 20, there are 26 cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine, three of them are lethal.
