“Today I was honored to open the first autonomous energy tree in X-Park (Peoples Friendship Park which was recently renamed to Muromets park, - ed.),” he wrote.
According to him, the main idea of this event is the presentation of the alternative energy sources sector, which provides various free services for the visitors through the self-contained kit of solar trackers in the stylized tree shape.
It is noted that the smart-tree will be working 24 hours without weekends. With the tree, one can charge the devices, gyro scooters, use free Wi-Fi or listen to music from the phone through the dynamics.
“It is a pilot project, which is to be tested within a month. Our aim is to develop the smart-tree infrastructure in Kyiv,” Nazarov concluded.
Earlier, Kyiv MPs renamed the Peoples Friendship Park to Muromets.
