The first session with the new members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine was devoted to energy issues. It was conducted in a new format and cannot be considered a full-fledged one, as the new secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Danyliuk said, 112.Ukraine reports.
“Nevertheless, it was a new format, a meeting. The first full meeting will be devoted to the problems in the east, with the war in the east of our country. In addition, as I said, the meeting after the next one will be devoted to the energy problems as well,” Danyliuk said.
According to the report, the National Security and Defense Council gave the Cabinet 10 days to solve energy problems, which were identified during the meeting as the top priority.

According to the report, the President reminded that one of Ukraine's commitments to the European Union was the reform of the energy sector with the demonopolization of energy markets being the key issue. Starting from July 1, the next stage of the electricity market should start.
