The Cabinet of Ministers ordered not to return the first driving license to the driver if he/she violated the rules and was deprived of the right to drive a vehicle. The relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers was made public on the government’s website.

“The document provides that individuals who received a driving license for the first time and were banned from driving a vehicle do not get the license back,” the message says.

It should be mentioned that in Ukraine the first driving license is issued for two years since November 27, 2017. If a person violates administrative norms of road-traffic safety more than twice or does not commit any violations within these two years after the term expires he/she receives a license for 30 years without any examination. Otherwise, an individual will have to pass a relevant exam to have a right to drive a vehicle.
