Law enforcers took all the documentation and the server with video archive from the office of Odesa Tokyo Star hotel where nine people died in the result of the fire. Сhief of the National Police in Odesa region Oleh Bech stated that on his Facebook.
"The measures related to indication the reasons of the incident and identification of the victims are assuming now. Witnesses of the fire are being questioned, all the documentation and the server with video archive are taken from the office, investigative actions are being held with the owner of the hotel and the representatives of the company, which installed the firefighting alarm," Bech wrote.
He added that the disaster had killed nine people and ten more people were in hospitals, four of whom are in critical condition.
As it was reported earlier, on the night of August 17, a large-scale fire broke out in the Odesa Hotel Tokyo Star.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his condolences and ensured he would personally control the investigation.
