January 12, the emergency service received a call about the fire at the ‘Karpatnaftokhim’ chemical factory in Kalush. Upon arrival at the scene, the rescuers found that flare combustion was occurring from the pipeline system over the area of about 114 square meters and a height of 15 meters.
The fire was localized the same day at 11:48 p.m.
