Finnish MFA Head visits Stanytsia Luhanska

The delegation of the Republic of Finland headed by Pekka Haavisto visited Stanytsia Luhanska, namely the first area of forces disengagement, as the Headquarters of the Joint Forces informed. 

It is mentioned that Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Yehor Bozhko.

As it is reported, the aim of the visit was the demonstration of support, receiving current information about security situation development and actions of Russian occupation forces.

"The representatives of the delegation expressed their worries about the conflict, which keeps going on the east of Ukraine and affects negatively on lives and health conditions of locals who live near the front line. Finnish Foreign Minister evaluated positively the work of the Ukrainian side on Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint. The restoration of the damaged bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska and the introduction of free vehicles for disabled people were also constructively evaluated by the delegation," the HQ says.
