Participants of the rally after the fire in a summer camp put up tents near the city council yesterday, Dumskaya reports.

When police officers tried to move the protesters’ tents, a fight occurred.

The protesters demand to organize a meeting with Odesa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov, and hus Deputy Zinaida Tsvirinko.

Previously the protesters stormed the city council building.

Earlier we reported that during the night a fire occurred in a municipal summer camp in Odesa.

The building caught fire at 11:30 pm. According to eyewitnesses, the fire alarm didn’t go off. The children woke up when they smelled smoke.

In the fire, three children died. Others inhaled a lot of smoke and were in shock. The police has started criminal proceedings on the case, and so far detained two officials.
