“We have talked about the reform and reforming of the institutions because there are many different interests that stand against the efforts of Ukraine in reforming and fight against corruption. It includes external forces, such as Russia, and internal forces, such as oligarchs and powerful persons who come after their own narrow interests by illegitimate means at the expense of the people of Ukraine. That is why the fight against corruption is one of the most important issues for Ukrainian people and it is ultimate for improvement of their life: from services that people count for and possibilities used by them,” Blinken said.
