Initially, the family of Yury Rossoshansky, the suspect in the murder of Iryna Nozdrovska gave the false testimony that all members of the family were at home and retired to bed, however, the mobile traffic betrayed them. Vyacheslav Abroskin, the Deputy Head of the National Police claimed this at the briefing broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

‘Also, we saw that the suspect was absent at the time where the victim appeared in Demydiv village. He was absent about two hours and then we compare this to the testimony that all members of the family retired to bed. We understood that the initial testimony was wrong’, Abroskin claimed.

According to Abroskin, Rossoshansky pleaded guilty soon but did not regret in the murder.

‘I personally talk to the suspect. He completely pleaded guilty and agreed for the re-enactment at the scene. He initially pleaded guilty when he was detained but during the talk I understood that he will never regret. He told me ‘I do not regret and will never do. I plead guilty’, Abroskin claimed.

As we reported Yury Rossoshansky, the suspect in the murder of Iryna Nozdrvoska was arrested for 60 days without a right for the bail on January 9.

As it was reported earlier relatives of Iryna Nozdrovska reported her disappearance on December 29th. She disappeared on the way from Kyiv in Vyshgorodska area. She investigated the death of her sister, who in September 2015 died in a car accident caused by Dmytro Rossoshansky, the nephew of a district judge, who was in a state of drug intoxication at the time of the accident.

Two years after the accident, Iryna was able to obtain punishment for Rossoshansky. At the end of May 2017 the court sentenced him to 7 years in prison, but on December 27th he almost escaped from custody: in the Court of Appeal of the Kyiv region, the lawyer tried to appeal the verdict and bring his client under amnesty, using the violations committed by the court of the first instance. As Irina's relatives said, she constantly received threats from Rossoshansky.

The mass media reported that the crime was committed by Yury Rossoshansky, born in 1954. The man is the father of Dmytro Rossoshansky - a driver who, in September 2015, killed Nozdrovska sister in a car accident - Svitlana Sapatynska. However, the defense of the family of Nozdrovska doubts such hypothesis of the investigation because Dmytro Rossoshansky could be pardoned. It will be illogical for Yury Rossoshansky to commit the murder.
