$27 thousand will be paid to the families of the police officers who died in a shootout in Kniazhychi on December 4. This was stated by MP of the People's Front party Anton Gerashchenko at the meeting of the Conciliatory Board on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"All the representatives of the three services of the Interior Ministry followed the instructions and their duties, and they will be compensated, the sum is about 27 thousand dollars," he said.

The question of providing those victims’ families whose housing issue hasn’t been solved with apartments  was discussed , people's deputy added.

Earlier it was reported that 5 law enforcement officers were killed in shootout in Kniazhychi as a result of confusion. The employees of the government security service took police intelligence officers for robbers.
