Several explosions thundered in downtown Lutsk, where a hijacker has been keeping people hostages in the bus. Local media reported this on Tuesday, July 21.
According to VolynPost, the explosions could be caused by firecrackers, as witnesses observed green flashes in the air, and there was no smoke.
Meanwhile, National Police spokeswoman Olha Buzuluk claimed that a suspicious item was found at the bus station in the same city. The people were evacuated from the station, and emergency service reached the site. The item appeared to be a piece of computer hardware. The station returned to the normal operation mode.
