Kirovsky District Court has considered and satisfied the motion filed by the Prosecutor’s Office concerning the restrictive measure in a form of detention for the head of LLC “Elan-We” suspected of explosions in Kropyvnytsky on March 27, as the press office of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kirovohrad region reported.

“The Court heeded the arguments of the Prosecutor’s Office and decided to arrest the suspect with a right for a bail amounting $38,461. The head of the company was detained in the courtroom,” the establishment reported.

The Court decided to keep the second suspect, the engineer of this company, under home arrest at night and obliged him to wear an ankle monitor.

“As the Prosecutor’s Office has filed a motion concerning his detention, such court’s decision was appealed,” the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office informed.

The explosions thundered at a petrol station in Kropyvnytsky on the evening of March 27. Employees of the State Emergency Service rushed to the site, as well as the local garrison of the Patrol Police department. The elimination of the fire lasted for about three hours. At 21:00, the fire was localized and at 22:45, the emergency crews eventually put it out.
