The rescuers localized fire sources at the military arsenal near Kalynivka (Vinnytsia region), covering about 2 hectares as a result of ammunition explosions. Ukrainian State Emergency Service reported this.

It happened on the territory of the military unit A1119.

“97 Emergency Service rescuers and 20 units of special equipment are involved in the liquidation of the fire,” the message says.

According to the General Staff, there are occasional fumigations in the area as of 13:20.

“An operational group headed by the First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, specialists of the State Emergency Service, officers of the National Police and the Ukrainian Military Police of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are working at the site,” the statement said.

Rescuers say there is no threat to soldiers and local residents.

As it was reported earlier, six explosions reported at the ammunition storages in Kalynivka of Vinnytsia region. The incident occurred at around 11:30, according to the Defense Ministry’s latest information, published later.
