Kyiv rescuers are checking reports of another mass mining in the city. In particular, there were calls about mining near Minska metro station, Ocean Plaza shopping center, and in the building of the Court of Appeal in Solomiansky district, as RBC-Ukraine reports citing the press service of the State Emergency Service.
The service said that reports of mining are still being investigated.
“At 11:32 a.m., service 102 informed the State Emergency Service about the mining of Solomiansky District Court of Appeal. The police are working there. Regarding Minska metro station, service 102 received a message about the mining of two fast-food kiosks at the market near the metro station. The explosion laboratory of the Ministry of Internal Affairs works on the site,” Emergency Service.
In addition, a call was received about the mining of Ocean Plaza.
The police said that at the Minska metro station scene, law enforcement officers are conducting a thorough inspection of nearby buildings and vehicles. The information is registered in the Journal of Unified Register of Applications and Notices. After the inspection of the territory, the legal qualification of the event will be given.
“During the inspection of the territory of the explosive device near one of the kiosks, a suspicious box was found. For safety reasons, it was neutralized on the spot. The remains were taken for forensic. Law enforcement officers continue to work at the site and check the surrounding area,” police said.
