We remind that the meeting of U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin has started on June 16 in Geneva.

The summit will consist of three parts. Ukraine is expected to be one of the topics of talks between the American and Russian leaders. The U.S. delegation includes U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The Kremlin notes that communication will be conditionally divided into three parts: in a narrow format (in the presence of Lavrov and Blinken), in an expanded format, and after a break for tea and coffee - the continuation of negotiations. In total, taking into account the breaks, the talks are due to last four to five hours.

After the talks, Biden and Putin will address separate statements – the sides decided to refuse the joint briefing.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky concerns that there will be no certain and clear decisions regarding Ukraine during the meeting of American and Russian leaders.
