The mayoral elections in Kyiv will be held in two rounds. These are the results of the exit poll conducted by the Savik Shuster studio, Ukraine 24 TV channel and the sociological company Liberty Report.
According to the survey, Vitali Klitschko is gaining 45.93%, Olexandr Popov - 9.62%, Iryna Vereshchuk - 8.53%, Oleksiy Kucherenko - 7.82%, Serhiy Pritula - 7.27%, Andriy Palchevsky - 4.81%, Igor Smeshko - 3.73%, Olexandr Omelchenko - 2.69%, Andriy Ilyenko - 2.48%, Mykola Tomenko - 2.11%.
According to the exit poll, the parties to be in Kyiv City Council are:
UDAR of Vitali Klitschko - 19.74%;
European Solidarity - 17.76%;
Servant of the People - 10.28%;
Opposition Platform - For Life - 7.77%;
Yedynstvo of Olexandr Omelchenko - 5.94%;
Holos - 5.65%;
Syla i Chest- 4.53%;
Peremoga of Palchevsky - 4.08%;
Svoboda - 3.71%.
The poll was conducted face-to-face at 554 polling stations. People questionned: 40 to 60 000, error: 1.6%.
Today, for the first time, Ukrainians elected members to councils of all levels - of rural, settlement, city councils, as well as rural, settlement, city heads. The first elections will also be held in 119 district councils.
