Former politicians and members of previous governments who live in the territory of state villas in Koncha-Zaspa were asked to leave the accommodations until Monday, May 24 as UNN reported citing sources.
“We were said to leave on Monday. Somebody did not like that we live there and everyone was asked to pack and leave,” the source said.
As it was reported earlier, at the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), the issue was raised about the sale of land plots and construction of houses in Koncha-Zaspa and Pushcha-Vodytsya. The issue is about almost 400 hectares of defense lands and over 100 state buildings and villas.
According to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, at the end of 2014, during the ruling of the previous president, the government confirmed the list of citizens who have a right for beneficial occupation. According to the president, it legalized “stay at these lands and in these residences for a nominal fee of a number of strange citizens”.
The list includes former judges, prosecutors, law enforcers, customs officers, and revenue officers.
“People with surnames, for example, Piskun, Landyk, Vasyunik. The ministers of Yanukovych’s time: Tabachnyk, Bohatyryova. Vice Prime Minister of Poroshenko’s time Zubko and even director of Bohdan Corporation Oleksandr Ilin,” Zelensky specified.
He underlined that these and a number of other people got the agreements on the use of the building, repaired them, and refund these costs in 50% volume.
“Today, I have set a task to hold a full audit of lands and residencies of Koncha-Zaspa and Pushcha-Vodytsya; establish a full list of people who live there and how they got such a right,” the president added.
