You can vote in two different ways: send an sms or via the smartphone app.
In first case scenario one needs to send the code of the country in a text message to the number, which will be announced during the Eurovision Song Contest broadcast. Unfortunately it is neither known nor available yet.
In the other case one need to download the official app from The official website of the Eurovision Song Contest.
The voting only takes place during the online broadcast.
The voting procedure
The voting procedure is the same as last year, when the system was changed. Each country will have two sets of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points to give. One set for each country's jury, and one set for each country's televoting.
First each national professional jury will award 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points to their favorites. In the Grand Final these points will be announced by the spokespersons from all participating countries in the usual way. Points from 1 to 10 will be shown graphically and 12 will be announced by the spokesperson.
Based on the televoting each country will award a second set of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points to the 10 songs they like most. The televoting points from all countries will be combined "bundled" and announced by the hosts, starting with country receiving the fewest points from the public and ending with the country that received the highest number of points from the televoting.
The 10 songs with most points will qualify to the Grand Final.
Each of the 18 countries participating in Semi-final 1 will vote.
The pre-qualified countries Spain, Italy and United Kingdom will broadcast and vote in Semi-final 1.
Each country has a national jury who gives one set of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points.
Each country will have televoting which also results in a set of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points.
The voting will not be revealed before the Grand Final has finished on Saturday.
Only the 10 qualified songs will be revealed in random order.
Televoters and national juries have equal weight in the voting.
The national juries voted yesterday evening (Monday, 8 May) based on the second dress-rehearsal.
