Eurovision 2020

On January 20, participants of Ukraine’s National Selection for Eurovision-2020 were announced. Sixteen artists have made it to the semifinals - from the legends of the 90s to beginners, from experienced artists to the internet sensations. We will tell you more about musicians who will compete for the trip to the Netherlands on February 8 and 15 in the semifinals and on February 22 in the finals of the Ukraine's Vidbir. 


Ukrainian indie-pop band, winners of the Hit of the Year Award by KissFM, got prize in the ‘Young Blood’ category at Jagermeister Music Awards, they are two times finalists at APPS Music & SZIGET, participants in over 20 music festivals, including Koktebel Jazz Fest, White Nights, Atlas Weekend, Waves Vienna and others. 


Young Ukrainian artist and songwriter, who performs in the genre of folktronica. One of the brightest semifinalists of the National Selection for Eurovision 2019. He released his debut album KHMIL’, which became a synthesis of electronic music, ethnic melodies and oriental motifs.


A singer, who conquered Ukrainian show business in five years. She was a semifinalist of the Voice of the Country TV show.  


A boy band that gained popularity in 2017 with the hit “Between the Worlds,” which became the soundtrack for School TV series. The songs of the band can often be heard in Ukrainian TV series and TV shows.   


Solo project of Ukrainian singer Alyona Levashova in collaboration with music producer Oleksiy Khorolsky. Alona is the author of her own songs, vocalist for the symphony crossover Prime Orchestra and Manera cover project.  

Katya Chilly

A well-known Ukrainian singer, musician, and composer, headliner of many music festivals. She has 5 albums, broadcasts on MTV, BBC, over 40 solo concerts in the UK, and more than 1,000 - in Ukraine.


Afro-Ukrainian hip-hop project, created in early 2019. Sisters Betty, Miriam and Siona Endale are very proud of their unique cultural background and showcase them in their songs and energetic live performances, and their music is a symbiosis of modern genres from trap to hip-hop. 

David Axelrod

Famous Ukrainian singer, musician, and composer, a participant in many vocal talent shows, such as X-Factor and Voice of the Country.

Oleksandr Poriadynsky

Singer and songwriter, author of hits, the youngest winner of the X-Factor TV show. He won the show at the age of 15.


Young musicians from Ternopil who make music the whole world listens. Their hit Believe made it to the Top 10 of Google Play charts in Ukraine in a matter of days.



Young musician singing pop music. He is an author and composer, a participant of X-Factor and Voice of the Country. He also performed with the Lords of The Sound Orchestra.

Jerry Heil

Young Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and composer, a “Breakthrough of the Year” according to Jager Music Awards, “Discovery of the Year” by Viva Magazine, a nominee for the YUNA 2020 Music Award in the categories: “Best Performer,” “Best Song,” “Discovery of the Year. Her #ОХРАНА_ОТМЄНА song became a hit with 14 million views on YouTube and keeping the lead in iTunes.


Singer and bandura player Maryna Krut began her musical journey 15 years ago. Working in a unique style, combining electronic sound and an old instrument around her distinctive voice, she often represents Ukraine and contemporary Ukrainian music at various festivals and showcases.

Elina Ivashchenko

Elina has been in music since the age of five. She is a winner of two popular vocal TV shows of Ukraine (X-Factor and The Voice.Children). She is a radio host, vocal coach, winner of Grand Prix at the Black Sea Games 2018.


A band that combined Ukrainian vocals, contemporary dance beats, African drums, and a powerful guitar drive. Participants of the most famous music festivals (Koktebel Jazz Fest, Land of Dreams, GogolFest, and others). They have represented Ukrainian music in Israel, Poland, Belarus many times.

MOONZOO feat. F.M.F. Sure

The collaboration of the Ukrainian electronic group MOONZOO, working in the style of Sad Dance, and American rapper F.M.F. Sure. Ukrainian music media called MOONZOO's debut album at the end of 2018 one of the best releases of the year.
