Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Jerusalem next year, as Reuven Rivlin, the President of Israel, and Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel’s PM, said in their congratulations on the victory in social networks.

“I am proud of you, dear Netta. We are waiting for everyone in Jerusalem next year!” Rivlin wrote on Facebook.

“Netta, you have brought a great respect to Israel state! Next year in Jerusalem!” Netanyahu stated on Twitter.

The winner of Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon is Netta Barzilai, a singer from Israel. With the song Toy she got 529 points. 

Eleni Foreira from Cyprus is on the 2d place and the 3rd place was taken by Cesár Sampson who represented Austria. Germany and Italy are in top-5.

Melovin, the representative from Ukraine, got the 17th place.
