The appeal filed by Germany against the decision of the General Court, which annulled the decision of the European Commission in 2016 to change the conditions of access to the OPAL pipeline, must be rejected," the Court said in a press release outlining the Advocate General's decision.
The opinion of the Advocate General in the Court of Justice is not a final decision, but is usually upheld by the Court. If the European Court of Justice rejects Germany's appeal, it will be a victory for Poland.
