European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis plans to visit Mariupol on July 14 after EU-Ukraine summit. This was reported by the press service of the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
During the visit, Dombrovskis will get acquainted with the state of humanitarian aid from the EU and discuss further reforms and needs with representatives of the authorities and the local community, it is noted.
Dombrovskis will visit Mariupol Center for Social Services for Internally Displaced Persons, whose reconstruction was assisted by the EU.
Also a press conference with Dombrovskis is scheduled in Mariupol which will be also attended by the Minister for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Vadym Chernysh and the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky. In addition, European Commission vice-president will also visit the checkpoint at the territory which is temporarily not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
He will also visit Talakivka village.
