The Editorial Office’ is a drama with elements of comedy, which covers one of the most acute and significant problems of the digital age - human life in the post-truth world among the biased media and ubiquitous social networks.
According to the plot, the protagonist Yura is a young employee of the Natural History Museum. He goes on an expedition in search of a rare ground squirrel, but witnesses the burning of the forest. He brings photos of the arsonists to the local newspaper and stays to work there. Over time, he becomes increasingly aware that the reality around him is completely different from what is written in the newspapers, so he begins his own independent investigation.
As it was reported earlier, the film about Donbas ‘The Earth Is Blue As An Orange’ won the award at the international film festival in Croatia.
