In particular, the King of the Netherlands expressed gratitude for “consistent and persistent actions of Ukraine’s Government to reach the truth and justice for MH17 tragedy victims and their relatives”.
Moreover, Raimonds Vējonis, the President of Latvia, and Sergio Mattarella, Italy’s President, sent congratulations on the Independence Day.
“I am convinced that in the nearest future our tight and fruitful partnership will have a further impetus within a further strengthen of connection between Kyiv and European Union,” the President of Italy noted.
Peter Cosgrove, current Governor-General of Australia, Bakir Izetbegović, the member of tripartite Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Stefano Palmieri, Captain Regent of San Marino, and Matteo Chachi joined the congratulations.
Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, sent congratulations earlier.
Ukraine marks its independence on August 24 annually.
